For the second time in three nights, Rose took to the hardwood for another ECC 3A/4A matchup against a hot CB Aycock team. In a fast paced first quarter, Rose walked away with a one point edge. Late in the first half, Charles Walker for Aycock got hot, hitting three from beyond the arc, propelling the Golden Falcons to a five point advantage at half. Rose however came out hot in the third and regained a lead that would hold to improve the Rampants to 3-0 in conference play. Rose was led by Aaron Murphy with 25 points and 6 rebounds, followed by fellow sophomore Alkevion Waller with 20 points and 5 assists. Jamarion Griffin had 10 points and Tanner Fields, coming off the bench added 7. Rose is back at home Friday night vs. Eastern Wayne where they’ll try to extend their winning streak to 12 and move to 4-0 in conference play.
